A Certified Community Forest™ is designed to align with federal and municipal urban & community forestry initiatives. Urban Foresters, Public Works, Parks Department and other municipal staff are vital partners in Community Forestry and are eligible to qualify as a Certified Community Forest Warden™.

Investment Cost:
Certified Community Forest Warden $299 annually
Requires 5 Community Forests Council continuing education units per year to maintain certification.
Qualifications:
An individual may meet the requirements for the role by:
- Holding a post-graduate or advanced university degree in the field of forestry, arboriculture, horticulture, agriculture, or other closely related fields
- Or alternatively achieving advanced industry licenses and certifications
and one of the following:
- Operating as an independent consultant
- Employed as an educational professional
- Other independent capacities
